All New Classes for Kids are Live!
I'm happy to announce that all new classes with Young Scholar's Academy are now live and available for registration!
I will teach three classes, all taking place on Wednesdays. The first class is a continuation of my chemistry class. This time we're talking all about chemical equations and reactions. The class culminates in an experiment during which students will use all that they've learned to determine the identity of an unknown chemical.
My other two classes are a bit different from my usual offerings. The first is Young Scholars for Social Change. Each student will spend eight weeks learning to understand their unique position within our shared social sphere and how they are positioned to improve the world around them.
2e children rely on their creativity to survive in a world designed for neurotypical people. And yet, so many of them claim to lack creativity. My course Cultivating Creativity is intended to change all of that.
In both classes, we will create a more creative and inclusive world. We will learn how to use our imagination to make the world a better place and harness the power of creativity to improve ourselves and our communities. We'll discuss how to use obstacles as opportunities, see the world through a different lens, and let go of fear and self-doubt to succeed.
You can register and learn more by following the links or checking out the information below. There are many more classes than the ones I am teaching, all uniquely designed to meet the educational needs of 2e children.
When you sign up for two or more classes, you get complimentary access to the YSA social club, where 2e kids can connect with kids a lot like them!
Please share this information with anyone searching for enriching classes for 2e or neurodivergent children.
